Homecoming is a growing series of fiber portraits exploring the people and relationships that shape our understanding of home. The series began with a simple question: Who embodies that feeling of home for me? My father was the first answer, and the other portraits grew from there.

Through punch needle portraiture, I explore homecoming as both comfort and uncertainty. Home can be safety, harbor, and relief—a place where we can be fully ourselves. But returning can also carry questions: What has changed? Will we still recognize one another? Who will feel familiar, and who will feel like a stranger? Homecoming sits within that space between anticipation and arrival, familiarity and change, and what it means to find—and sometimes rediscover—home in one another.
